A Bucket-full of photos

Bucket (aka: Judy Roberts, Xena crew) sent along some photos of our last Saturday's "Over the Wall" manouver.  I thought of putting them in the post before this, to get them all in one place, but that'd make rather too many photos on one post, so here they are, a bit of overlapping from previous post's photos.
Thanks to Bucket -- seen here, left, cropped from a photo on Saturday, getting ready for the big lift...

Here Bucket's photos:
Better photo of the boat than mine.... The yellow line on the rudder is the
water line (DWL = "Design Water Line")

"Wall jumping Jig" and planks to take the Cradle

Many discussions about how to do the "Wall Jump"....
Wolfie, PF, Ian, Chris.

... and more discussions.... PF, Ian, Chris, Wolfie.
The purple carpet is the one we rescued from a neighbour's rubbish

... and still more discussion, while we wait for the rest of the crew to arrive....

.... and we try out some webbing, which we ended up using to hold down
while balanced on top of the wall...
... back on the cradle, ready to go over...
Putting on the rubbish-found carpet, to help her over the
wall.  Ian supervises....

... here your's truly (PF) holding down on the other side of the wall.
The purple carpet in use...

... the bit of "bush" we had to traipse through, part of the public property
of Siena Central Park...

.... and now on the other side of the "bush"...

What's left behind... nothin'....

By the roadside.  The curved wood is left-over bit of
Sheer clamp, now using it for rain cover.

And bubbly for the crew....

  2. Many congratulations!!There are many ways that a boat is "launched" but, I have to say, this is a first for me. Well done! Not a scratch. And the boat looks fabulous!

Probably seemed easy–when you were all done. But before then, oh my. One's mind is good at thinking up all sorts of disasters.

Look forward to seeing launch pictures and sailing pictures. Keep up the great work!
